Im here to tell you something you might find hard to believe. I’m here to tell you that in the middle of what feels like absolute chaos you are allowed, for a moment, to stop taking life so seriously. I’m here to tell You that you can pack your bags and just go. Go around the world, across the country, down the street, who cares just go. You can let go of everything else and choose yourself. You can stay out until 7am and watch the sunrise. You can have deep conversations with complete strangers. You can even meet someone without worrying about if they’re your soulmate or someone you’ll never see again. You can just be grateful they helped you get a little piece of yourself back along the way. You can jump in the ocean with your clothes on and and you can come up for a breath letting the air fill your lungs in the way you know it should’ve felt your whole life. You can live that life you never thought you were capable of having. That life, maybe, you thought you never even deserved. But listen to me. You should live that life, you deserve to live that life. You deserve to live a life that doesn’t just consist of working yourself to death, but a life that is full of silliness and joy. You deserve to live a life that is one for the books people actually read, not just one for the shelves. You deserve to make mistakes and not know what comes next even though it might scare you a little. You deserve to dance in the kitchen until you laugh so hard you forgot why you were ever so scared in the first place. You deserve to live a life on purpose and a little bit on accident all at the same time. You deserve the adventure you’ve always dreamed of and you deserve that spontaneity you’ve seen in others that you always wish you had the courage to possess. The thing is though, it’s never about having the courage to possess the ability to just be spontaneous, it’s about having the courage to do what what will make you happy right when you realize that it will. It’s about not waiting for the “right” moment because the truth that I’m realizing is that it’s always the right moment to choose what makes you happy. So be spontaneously happy, be absurdly happy in a life that we tend to take too seriously. You deserve it.
